DESCRIPTION:Our September meeting will be at the Village Blacksmith in Gloucester\, VA.  6641 Gloucester St\, Gloucester VA 23061. \nOur Host\, George Cramer will be demonstrating a blacksmith project to be announced.  Some food and drinks will be provided\, and guests are encouraged to bring a side dish or snack item.  We will have our usual Iron in the Hat raffle.  Tickets are $1 each or 11 tickets for $10.  Please try to bring an item to donate to the raffle.  A forged item is preferred\, but most any blacksmith related item will do. \nNew folks are encouraged to attend and may join the Guild at the meeting if they wish to do so.  Dues are $40 per year. \nWe hope to see you there.

SUMMARY:The TBG Gathering of the Blacksmiths 2025
DESCRIPTION:3300 Benefit Rd\, Chesapeake\, VA 23322\n\nOur annual Gathering will be at Scott Hill’s place this year. The public is invited. Bring your friends and family. The event will start at 9 AM on Saturday with a Ring of Fire (several blacksmiths working on several different forges). No camping on Friday\, but you may bring items and do some set-up if you wish. There will be limited camping available on Saturday night.\n\nThis is a public event.  Come on out and bring your friends and family. A port-o-potty will be on site.\n\n`We will have our usual Iron in the Hat drawing. If you’re participating in the Ring of Fire\, we hope you’ll make something for the raffle table. Otherwise please bring an item to donate if you can.   The Guild forges will be set up for those who don’t have their own forge or aren’t able to bring one.  Remember to wear safety glasses/goggles when smithing.  Raffle tickets for the drawing are $1 or eleven tickets for $10.  Put as many tickets as you wish into the cup next to an item you wish to win.\n\nThe Guild will provide soft drinks\, water\, and other food TBA.  Additional food items are welcome.\n\nCoal will be available for sale to members.\n\nWe hope to see you there.

All withing walking distance.Historic Murfreesboro is a great place to visit. you might want to make a weekend out of it. An excellent family outing. We hope to see you there

Please bring an item to donate.\nWe will also be holding a separate auction of donated items to raise money for the Guild.\nAs always\, dues ($40) may be paid at the event\, and new folks can join and pay as well.\nJohn Elliot from Blacksmith Supply will be there with a table full of goodies.
